Since 2012 I am regularly drawing Maps of Thoughts, a kind of personal mindmap, that serves me to order, facilitate and render visible my thoughts. The archive comprises over 300 drawings.
The Working Space here is an ideal, abstract environment for these drawings, that are displayed directly on and in it. The installation is at the same time sculpture and container and serves as a model, referencing real working spaces and means of order and work. Thus the aspect of the handmade also plays an essential role in this work.
The Working Space is an ideal furniture, that acts as an archive for the Maps of Thoughts and the other art-objects as well as including the possiblility to extend, explore, develop and complement this collection.
